This won’t be read much, I’m sure of that. I don’t have masses of followers or even people who engage but hopefully someone will see it and take some notice. If one person thinks, it’s a start.
Some of you are posting photos & stories of people dying, tweets of what’s happening in ICU’s around the country
Saying how awful the situation is.
Most of us know.
The people you’re trying to shock do NOT care.

They do not think this is of any concern to them.
There are people on here who currently have loved ones in hospital. Some have lost loved ones.
They DO care.
Can you imagine how distressing it is for them to keep seeing these posts, at a time they’re desperately worried for someone they care about or grieving for them?
If you’ve never considered that, maybe now is the time.
#COVIDー19 is affecting many people. Loved ones. Almost everyone now knows someone who is/has been affected.
How about instead of sharing the post about the dying person, you think instead that they’re someones loved one.
You could think how you may feel if your family member was in hospital fighting a virus that little is known about & imagine how you’d feel seeing posts like it.
So how about instead of sharing these upsetting posts, we instead share some love and well wishes around instead?
Maybe I’m being optimistic but I’d like to think we can maybe make Twitter a nicer place. We can support those who are separated from their loved ones right now.
We can be more considerate.
Have compassion.
Be kinder.
I think we can all really do much better.
At a time when so many people are affected, we can at least try.

Everyone deserves a bit of hope, surely?
