East Avenue Medical Center in Quezon City is in need of PPE and body bag donations. Aside from deaths due to Covid-19, the hospital needs body bags for the patients who died from other illnesses. @cnnphilippines
I spoke to Dr. Ordoña over the phone. He said relatives usually claim a dead body within 6 hours after his/her death. But there are still unclaimed bodies in the hospital morgue. @cnnphilippines
@cnnphilippines
Dr. Ordoña says the hospital is already coordinating with the QC gov& #39;t to help them in processing the bodies. In the meantime, the cadavers will be placed in a mobile freezer.

Another frontliner from EAMC says someone already lent the hospital a mobile freezer. @cnnphilippines

Dr. Ordoña: What we do now is to look for mobile freezer to temporary istore ang cadaver for storage while waiting for processing. @cnnphilippines
Dr. Ordoña clarifies East Avenue Medical Center needs body bag donations for future use.
"Yes, we are still accepting PPEs and body bags. Ang reason, hindi natin alam gano katagal ang sitwasyon natin ito, if tatagal ito. There may come a time na kukulangin siya. @cnnphilippines
