In a National TV, on what earlier appeared like a review of reports as it concerns the COVID -19 pandemic with Arise TV-Nigeria, a segment turned into a charade of asininity with visible interest on

character assassination, taken to it's peak, peddled by our own traditional and well renowned attack bigot of no mean repute in the circle, Dr Reuben Abati and a bunch of unprofessional ignoramus, swimming to the tides of their directionless master.
Reuben in his usual manner,

a tactic not alien to the Nigeria populace as his stock in trade, tried to malign the image of the Governor of Cross River State Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade by quoting his policies off context.
His modus operandi, a known template of playing the rhythm his gullible followers and

listeners want to hear.
At this time, does really need a proper medical assessment.
I watched the show of shame where He-Reuben and his colleague displayed open ignorance in full glare, cloth in confidence and demanding that Governor Ayade should Infact get his facts right and

update himself to the WHO requirements by using Google while describing officials with unguarded utterances.
The trio in their over blown crass shallowness have obviously been very far away from their Google for quite some time now to check update on countries making U-turn from

no face mask to enact face mask policy for all to protect their citizens.

Butt lickers with sawdust brain?
Comon', Reuben Abati, who licked the butts of the GEJ's cabal for good 4 years as Special Adviser media, cannot draw conclusions on others in service based on his

experience which in truth, was the graven task of deceit and duty to coat failure with gold plated insincerity which characterised the quality of service he offered while in office.
Abati had the choice not to switch off his brains and replace it with sawdust but he ignored the

warnings, took the appointment under a cabal ridden administration which today causes the post traumatic disorder he faces.
I can't blame the man for feeling the way he does but he must stop taking everyone down the mud with him.
His brazen, unforgettable lies, we've continued

to suffer the repercussions till date, that has left an irreparable damage to that office and the ones in relation.
Abati lacks the locus to call anyone a sycophant because he took sycophancy to the next level.
No wonder Dr Perigrino Brimah described him in an unprintable term

as “conspiring, orchestrating, plotting and conniving” personality.
Dr Perigrino to further unravel his true identity, wrote;
“There is nowhere where you will not find Reuben or pick his dangerous scent. Reuben works between party lines, he sneaks up on activists,

media editors; selling his paymasters’ wares in the last places you expect. If you are an activist or politician, you will know precisely what I am talking about. If the unbelievable story can be written, Reuben wrote it; if the unimaginable can be invented and spun, Reuben spun

it. If it can be blown-up, Reuben is blowing it”.

In 2014, Reuben was amongst those fingered as the agents who peddled and sold the lies of GEJ's administration even when it was clear they were all loosing grip.

The red flag was raised years ago when Abati was in an intense

lobby for a government position when he wrote a ten- part article on the Jonathan Presidency. The article was a well rehearsed display of sycophancy designed to market himself to the presidency for a government post from whence he can join the cabal of executive robbers in the

infamous looting of the nations coffers.

Undoubtedly, Abati holds the patent to modern day sycophancy, once NOT under employ, plays the ring leader of liberation to his credulous audience.
A sad story for such a man without a primary place of assignment at the moment.

How he'd suddenly evolved into an attack dog against Government Ayade, explains his tomfoolery. It is his stock in trade.

A journalist of an impeccable character and content within the context he has created in his delusional mind, should not condescend low to becoming a media

entrepreneur who takes from the highest bidder and blackmails to satisfy the terms of his paycheck.

Let's address the misconceptions.

Today, regardless of the WHO variable protocol on what is applicable to what region based on their peculiarity, Wuhan-China where the virus

began and has been contained has a face mask policy for all in play.
Look at Taiwan for instead, not a member of WHO with an impeccable, world plausible records concerning how they have handled the Coronavirus pandemic and are offering to share their experience with the rest of

the world.
United States CDC had already recommended a face mask to all citizens after a careful analysis of the spread sequence and workable containment models available.

East Asian countries have thus far recorded infallible and mind-blowing successes from the use of face

mask even without social distancing as they still go about their usual day to day activities.

Nonetheless, the position of Cross River State Government borne out of it's own peculiarity, is very clear, ‘No mask, no movement’.
A result oriented policy in most countries as the

best bet to cut the spread of the virus while keeping the intra state economy flowing so the people who depend on their menial job will have food on their table and for their families.
Like Gov Ayade said, ‘you cannot guarantee the safety of the lives of the people without

their livelihood’

A concept that Abati will never understand
