The idea behind flattening the curve is to give the healthcare system and the state a fair chance to fight. What have been the improvements wrt that in the past three weeks? Will we ever be ready?
You can't get hospitals ready in a few weeks' time for something like this. You need a solid pre-existing healthcare system. Increased supply of PPE. More testing kits.
How much longer can we sustain a lockdown? Where is the minimum wage to help people survive? Where is the housing and food? What policy implementations are being put in place if this is extended? These questions need to be asked.
6th year without a press conference. Who is going to answer all these pressing questions? Where do all our concerns go? How are we going to survive another lockdown? Don't the people deserve to know?
