IMPORTANT COVID THREAD:

Today, a healthcare worker was at my doorstep in Chennai to check if anyone at home at #CoronaVirus symptoms. My observations:
1. The worker was using his personal handkerchief as a mask. No proper mask was given to him.
2. No gloves/hand-sanitizer

3. He was using an old raggedy dirty book to take notes. No tech facilitation.
4. He asked me if anyone was sick. I said, “No, we are showing no symptoms.” cuz that was the truth.
5. He nodded & left

What if I was lying? Many lie only to escape consequences. How do we identify them?

This process seemed completely futile. It not only fails to identify those who’re sick, but it also puts the lives of the workers & citizens at risk cuz of lack of protective apparatus.

What are @CMOTamilNadu & @DrBeelaIAS doing to ensure that is a comprehensive & meaningful process, and not the kind of cosmetic facade it is currently.

This has to be re-thought & re-done. Otherwise you’re wasting resources.

THINK STRATEGICALLY BEFORE OKAYING A PLAN.
