in a world where revolutionary upheaval is impossible and endlessly destructive, i am choosing to work with in broken systems because i believe that america is not beyond salvation and i’m choosing to keep fighting for a better world

donald trump can do more damage in a day as president than i can do good in my whole career as an organizer and because of that the best thing i can do for my causes and my values and the people i fight for and the reason why i do this work at all is to vote for the alternative

that said, if we don’t get progressives in office where they still can win (so, everywhere that’s not the presidency in 2020) we are fucked so start making calls and sending texts and donating and supporting state races and researching local campaigns because we need them
