I'm just so tired

The lack of kindness & empathy;
abundance of hate & vitriol

Gratitude for little;
expectations for much

Respect has been forgotten;
self righteousness abounds

Each day is more difficult to find the beauty I used to see everywhere

While watching The Walking Dead I joke that I wouldn't want to survive an apocalypse. Who the hell wants to live each day just barely surviving?

Granted, in the show it would entail a lot of killing, blood and guts.

But in the end, it's human behavior that's the true horror.
