The TWC (Texas Workforce Commission) is so fucking stupid and needlessly complicated. When filing for unemployment, the website didn't believe that I make $10/hr and said to put in $7.25 or a lower amount. Now I have to wait until the call centers open to dispute this crap!

I called 51 times in the last hour and only one call went through. It said "We're unable to process your call. Our hours on Saturday are 8-5."

Even though on their website it said 7-7 Monday-Saturday!

Now I have to wait to try again on Monday.

Another 150 calls today. Nothing but the busy tone. I understand that there are a LOT of people trying to call and they're likely VERY short staffed.

I just wish the website was better so this wouldn't be an issue.
