The Krakatoa website that everyone is referencing isn’t showing what people say it’s showing. https://magma.esdm.go.id/v1/gunung-api/cctv/KRA
First image is from the @DailyMailUK other 2 images are real time from the website they claim it’s coming from?
What’s really wild is the spammy accounts pushing this and specifically the “ Krakatoa” video I originally posted.
Allowing for the possibility of this volcanic explosion being true while being skeptical of the reporting so far is perfectly ok and a good habit to get into.
Sure it’s exciting to be first out with news and video. But I’m ok with less excitement and more facts.
