lrt has a thread that's very worth reading breaking down why the marvel designs don't really work, and just a really fun, interesting look at how they could've worked

I feel a little bad making fun of the originals as hard as I did now I know they were trying in good faith, but this thread is still a very good example of how anyone can mess it up, even with the best of intentions

also the designs kat ended up making here are one of my favorites out of the redesigns I've seen, I would definitely read a comic of that
