along with @cshlcourses, we had to make the tough decision this week to cancel the 2020 drosophila neurobiology @CSHLflycourse for this summer. too much is up in the air and everyone& #39;s safety is the utmost concern. it& #39;s absolutely the right thing to do but i& #39;m still gutted.

we (me + @elliehoopla + @CAndrewFrank) worked hard on a schedule that we were super stoked about, with amazing faculty and exciting labs (new to the course and returning favorites), and would& #39;ve made an absolutely marvelous summer. and it would& #39;ve been my 1st time as a director!

but sad as i am to miss it this year ... IT& #39;S COMING BACK STRONG IN 2021! and so are ellie + andy + i (seriously, one second on how lucky i am to get to work with those two fucking LUMINARIES). we hope everyone will apply. as i always say, 2021 is the new 2020 (i said that once).
