DEAR VICTOR DANIEL, THANK YOU FOR THIS POST.

- By Idoreyen Umoh

Take this anywhere but children of rich and upper middle-class people are the most courteous and polite you'll ever meet. I'm talking about kids who grew up in rich and comfortable homes.
They may be sometimes spoilt and entitled but that's easily because they're used to having all they need. They are hardly condescending and are actually very respectful of other people, and are hardly vain.
They're using your dream phone and are driving the new cars and are having casual holidays and they're doing all this without the need to pepper anyone.

But you see kids of poor/lower middle-class people, especially the ones who are now suddenly touching some money,
they're the most condescending, most elitist and the vainest people you'll ever meet in this life. I don't have a certain scientific theory for this other than experiences. They are the ones that will buy an iPhone and start talking down on Android users.
They're the ones under pressure to prove wealth, the ones who need to show that they're now part of a different class, in a bigger league of the elites.
They're the ones who are more likely to use money for the things that show clearly that they have money. The only problem is that all the shinny clothes in the world and the priciest phones in the world cannot cover the ghetto that you are.
Aaaand you guessed right: they're the quickest to insult other people with brokeness. It's like a projection of some sort. It's like getting out of a situation they consider humiliating so the moment they have a problem with you they need to quickly put you in that box of
humiliation to spite you. Of course they're the ones who post all those tacky memes about getting money by all costs.*

And the ones who become Yahoo Boys or the ones who are making illegal money among them are the absolute worst of them because they have a lot of money coming
in that they've never had before and that shit gets to their heads. So next time you're in the club and you see someone washing his hands with champagne, or you see someone making jokes about android users, or you see someone posting
pictures of their transaction slips after they're done shopping, walk up to them and hug them.

They've seen a lot of lack in this life.
