cancel culture confuses me. what are y’all trying to achieve by blatantly villainizing your peers instead of simply educating them which would do nothing but open their eyes to the problem... it holds an air maturity to not slander each other over opinions but to- 1/10
hold a genuine discussion and maybe, in turn, learn from them also. it’s even funnier when someone says one thing you don’t like and you forget all of the times they congratulated, complimented, or were just simply nice to you. 2/10
it’s also thoroughly hypocritical to come and say your piece on someone else’s views and say they’re invalid. idk what to tell y’all but in life not everyone is going to agree with you, and being mature means that you don’t get fired up by other peoples views. 3/10
don’t throw opinions at opinions to try to make things right. drop the facts quietly and kindly, then exit. you don’t know what someone else’s life is and it is in no means EVER your place to assume. 4/10
please stop trying to change the world by fighting with people behind a screen. if you really want to do something educate them, donate to a cause, or go volunteer. 5/10
opinions are formed through life experience. and no matter how much you yell at someone you’re not going to change what they think. if anything you’re going to ruin the chances of them ever embracing what you think. it’s a respect thing people. 6/10
tweets are 280 characters. i hope you don’t think you know someone’s entire life story from a singular tweet. disrespect is different, but it should still be treated in a cool and composed manner. 7/10
no need to fight ignorance with ignorance. all you get from that is more ignorance. then everyone looks dumb. 8/10
lastly, before you drag someone think to yourself if you’ve ever made mistake and how you felt. then think about how much better it would’ve been if someone simply said “hey it’s ok but next time...” 9/10
you’re only allowed to tell people how to feel if you’ve never had a misstep in life and that’s none of you. so stop it. treat others how you want to be treated. it’s the golden rule, i bet you learned that when you were 7🖤 10/10
