Salazar was a beautiful, young Latina who was a fixture in south florida news

She lost to a woman w/ a metric ton of baggage from her Clinton years, widely hated for her tenure at UM & DOES NOT SPEAK SPANISH

@SenhorRaposa jokes about Shalala but it's absolutely insane she won

This is not about Cubans (the gen that cares about Castro is almost all dead) nor is it about Venezuelans (who are not as reliably R)

The *culture* of FL, from proudly hillbilly Panahndle to gilded Brickle, is nothing if not divorced entirely from the Amtrak corridor

National Ds speak the language of burgeoning suburbs but that just doesn't resonate in Sunshine State

GOP has a devil of a time balancing Trump in Chester PA & Racine WI but in Pinellas & Seminole FL, they do just enough

And just enough will beat Biden. In FL at least...
