“my testing window closed”
-I had to be tested early 14 day incubation
-high false negatives & false positives
->10 days “particles” are duplicates & not “original”

Let me caveat this is NOT medical advice.
I am sharing my thoughts & what I’m experiencing.
Always listen to your Doctor or licensed healthcare professional.
I wasn’t happy with what the Dr told me.
I’ve been a patient of their’s for 14 years
So we “know each other”
He texted me

And said that my questions bothered him
I asked;
-should I have made an appointment sooner?
-was my “it’s just bronchitis” a false sense of I’m good?
-how the hell did I contract it?
-I’ve been working from home since 3/11 (NC & DMV)
-who have I infected?
-is my family okay

So again I’m NOT a healthcare professional, my employer/client does some Pharma work.
My Dr understands my need for information, facts and data.
He explained because the test are virtually impossible to get Drs are guessing but note data is becoming available.

My Dr explained that incubation is different than actual “infection” that had I contacted on day 2 or 3 of fever that the “host” cells would likely show up, based on what kind of test.
He explained the longer that shit is in your body it makes “photocopies” and copies of that...

So my Dr sent me this April 8, 2020 letter and again I am NOT giving medical advice because I’m not smart enough
But this letter actually explains in detail what my Dr explained to me in layman’s terms.

My layman’s takeaways -
I should have contacted my Dr sooner.
I had/have an underlying condition aka bronchitis.
I thought my ick was bronchitis
I knew something was off a couple of days ago.

Stay home
Wash you hands
We had 1 person as our “designated-grocery runner”
I still got it
Take your (& your family’s) temp at least 3xs a day
Listen to your body, if sometime feels off, then call your Dr as soon as you can.

Really good thread - and it makes me feel like there’s light at the end of this horrid tunnel.
I’m now in the teeth chattering phase & ice cold hands meanwhile I’ve changed clothes 4x bc this fever is making me sweat. Like when I run.
