As @IAmNickReynolds reported last week, former WMC doc @SenJohnBarrasso is advocating money go to these hospitals. Some of that money has been shelled out here already — but not enough for a month’s payroll.
While Wyoming hasn’t had the hospital closures seen elsewhere in rural America, many facilities here have very little cash on hand. That precarious situation has worsened significantly now; some facilities have lost 60 percent of their revenue, the hospital association says.
