There’s this scene in The Man mv. The letters subtly go from The Man to this May. But we don’t what date yet...

But the Lover mv shows a box w CS lyrics, there’s numbers. *creds to @milatheswiftie_ for finding this, saw her pic on tumblr & that was THE LAST thing I needed for my theory on the single release date. Added all of the things in this thread to her post on tumblr too :)

So we know that ~something~ is happening this May, probably on 27th of May. The date is next to CS lyrics so they are probably connected... And Taylor has capitalized Cruel Summer lyrics randomly... And even the whole name of the song

BUT NOT JUST THAT. Taylor mentioned Loren & her eye roll. Loren’s fandom name is literally angels. ANGELS ROLL THEIR EYES!!

And finally there’s this. CS is track 2. 2 fingers are seen in this picture. This whole thread is a reach, I might as well add this :)

So - Cruel Summer has been mentioned way too much, it can’t not be a single. And it’s kicking off summer on 5/27

This is my 1st time doing a theory tweet, it’s a bit wacky & there’s probably much more I could’ve added. All of these Easter eggs are quite obvious. But Easter is coming up so I just wanted to post this :)
