if we look at the ST through the lens of the OT and the PT, meaning “this is all anakin’s story” then the ST becomes 10x more depressing. look! here’s the story of anakin’s children suffering and sacrificing, and being manipulated in early graves. here’s the story of his (1/3)

grandchild being victimized and manipulated by the same man who manipulated and brainwashed him! and guess what, he dies super young after a tragic life! and just for funzies, we’re gonna take away anakin’s sacrifice and say that the emperor never died! (2/3)

oooh, and lets also say that he was never actually the chosen one, and act like this was always luke’s story, and not anakin’s! and lastly, we’ll wipe out his whole line, and make the skywalkers extinct. it’s a happy and hopeful ending to his story <3
