It’s worth noting that in my reporting I spoke with a former intern who worked under Tara Reade who said that as of mid-April 1993, Reade was abruptly no longer managing the interns. And this intern found that ‘odd.’ The timing coincides with when Reade says she complained

And it’s important to note, it is not accurate to say that Reade did not name Biden in the police report she filed. Neither Reade or Biden were named on the public version of the complaint she filed, for obvious reasons.

Also worth noting that in my reporting I interviewed Reade’s younger brother, Collin Moulton, one of three people she told of the assault back in 1993. He went on the record.

Update: while it is typical for a criminal complaint filed out of statute--like the one Tara Reade filed against Joe Biden--to be closed/archived, DC Metro Police confirmed to me, 11 days later, "This is an active investigation..."

And @UDelaware -- which houses the collection of Joe Biden's senatorial papers -- just confirmed to me that the papers "will remain closed to the public until two years after Mr. Biden retires from public life."
