We’re still doing something different toward the end of our Live Twitter Rosary. It’s entirely optional but I think it’s a good idea. I searched for special prayers for this time & found a novena to Our Lady of Monte Berico.

So you’re invited to pray the novena with me, on your own, on the days we pray together, any way you want to do it.

The next tweet will be an antiphon or Scripture verse to help us prepare to pray. Then I’ll post some general intentions. Feel free to add your own. At 7pm I’ll begin posting the Rosary itself in this thread.

Take a few minutes to prepare to pray the Holy Rosary. Put away the news of the day. Speak to the Lord from your heart. Listen with the ear of your heart, too.

When Jesus had taken the vinegar, he said: “It is accomplished.” Then he bowed his head and died.

That's a version from the Divine Office in that last tweet, a little different from the one we usually say with the Stations of the Cross.

Here's the one we usually say:

We pray for protection and healing all those affected by the Coronavirus. In this time of need may we draw closer to the Lord. May we unite our sufferings to His Redemptive Suffering. Even in our isolation & quarantine may we remain united to Him & so to each other.
