Hi! I’m a second-year CS and Art student. I no longer have an internship this summer because, you know, COVID. Hire me, I’m cheap, productive and curious! thread

Logistics: I’m marooned in the Bay Area, so I need to work remotely (or in person in the Bay Area if/when shelter-in-place guidance ends).

My skills: I have a year of full-time startup experience. I’ve done eng, support, QA, PM, UX research, and CSM for users and enterprise customers in a (B2B SaaS) startup context. I have motivated and led small distributed teams before. I can also draw/animate.

I would jump at an internship where:
- It is my mission to create positive change/tell a compelling story to an audience that I can interact with directly. I am particularly excited to get some experience with consumer-facing products!

- Teammates gift regular feedback to each other, and there exists explicit structure for this (or leadership creates this culture by example).

- My responsibility is to identify and understand a problem extremely well, before developing (concise, elegant) solutions.

- Team members of every seniority level are expected and encouraged to have impact
