Good thread on a particularly stupid bit of media Covid alarmism.

1) media and pundits who live in and/or have extensive contacts in NYC making this mistake is akin to them seeing a packed subway train and reporting it as “so many sick people that trainloads are being shipped off, like 1930’s Germany!!” It’s literally that stupid.

2) the response to that excellent thread are extremely depressing. Even as blindingly stupid as this is once you know what you’re actually seeing, a lot of people are apparently happier believing the stupid alarmist thing.
