Creativity is stunted when you're fearful. Worrying about what others are going to think of you.

The thicker the skin, the more you tap into your greatness

That's when your galaxy mind becomes a cosmos

'Hmm.. not sure if I'm following. What does thick skin have to do with creativity?'

A lot.

Creativity comes down to releasing your internal universe to the external

Need the right mentality

You ever noticed a lot of rappers who were on the come up had great music...

But once they signed with a label, they became watered down?

'Ya I know a lot of rappers like that. Y is this?'

Bc of the wrong mentality

Record labels kept telling the rappers that they need hits.

Give the fans what they wanted.

The rappers realized they needed to make the record labels happy, otherwise they wouldn't have a job

The rapper adjusted

Now the rapper's internal world wasn't influencing the external world.

But instead, the exact opposite.

The external world (record label, fans) were influencing the internal world (rapper).

I understand how the game works though.

I don't blame those rappers. They have a livelihood to maintain

But now you understand the WHY behind the watering down

Humans evolve to make it easier on creativity.

Our creator wanted us to become a creator.

That's one of the reasons I say the future belongs to the artists.

We are all artists in different ways. It doesn't just need a paintbrush.

The internet has changed up the game.

Giving artists the leverage once more.

Which is why learning practical skills around creativity is more important than ever.

Creativity comes down to thick skin

Thin skin - When external world is stronger than internal world.

Thick skin - When internal world is stronger than external world.

To evolve into thick skin, you need to see past dualities.

Your ego sees in dualities.

Right/wrong.

Good/bad.

Nice/mean. Etc

For the dualistic mind, they see a coin with 2 sides. Heads/Tails.

For the nondualistic mind, they see a coin with 3 sides. Heads/Tails/Edge.

Gotta evolve to the edge champ.

'How?'

By going within.

Life Law:

If nice opinions can get to your head.

Then mean opinions can get to your heart.

The reason a lot of creative people become depressed & alcoholics is because they work too much for others.

This makes them externally dependent.

Even though you can't see it, emotional charges are being formed.

The emotional charges to the external world serve as strings.

You serve as the puppet

Now they can control you at their whim.

When they give you a compliment, you try to seek more of those compliments.

And when they don't, you get upset & cry.

Dualistic to the tee

The goal is to take the strings away from the external.

Redirect the emotional stings within yourself.

This requires your to rest the ego in your internal world.

Not on the opinions of others

Resting the ego in the internal world turns an untamed ego into a tamed one.

You rest the ego in yourself by finding out who you are & slowing your breaths down

When you body feels light, that's when your ego is becoming tamed

You're getting the power back

As you become more whole, the skin toughens.

The electric charges within your skin starts to create an invisible (to the eyes) shield around ya.

That's thick skin

As the skin toughens, your internal cosmos begins to show the light.

The universe is all over the place.

The cosmos is a structured universe. A universe built with an intelligent design.

Cosmos = Structured Universe

Wanna know what creativity is?

'What?'

Creativity = Structured Chaos.

Your chaos is unstructured when you're dualistic and rely on the external world.

Your chaos is strucutured when you're nondualistiv and rely on the internal world.

Creativity turns your mind from a galaxy to a cosmos

Before you worried about running out of ideas.

Now you worry about not having enough time to get all your ideas out there

The latter is a good problem to have

The beauty is that you learn a lot about the external world by learning about the internal world.

There is one truth.

We all take different paths to get there.

I noticed that recently as I hear a lot of scientists making discoveries that were written down by mystics 1000s of years ago.

They are expressing the truth, via a different language.

And that's what art comes down to.

When your coming to your own truth & sharing it

Becoming reliant on others is poison.

It feels good at first. But after a while you feel trapped

Your internal joy is lost.

And creativity without joy is like a car without gasoline

You ain't going nowhere
