So glad I got out of #DOLLARAMA when I did a few years ago. They give zero shits about their employees which are some of the most kindest, hardworking people I ever knew. (1/?)

Unfortunately a lot of people aren't so lucky and they have to continue to work there with bad conditions, made worse by COVID-19. (2/?)

The fact that corporate does nothing to protect their workers while maintaining essential status is a complete joke and speaks for the greed of not supplying basic and much needed supplies for everyone who works on the store floor. (3/?)

And honestly I worry for my former coworkers and anyone who has to deal with the public--especially now--just to put food on the table and have a roof over the head and are denied basic necessities to work safely is a sick joke. (4/5)

In conclusion fuck Dollarama. If you want your business deemed essential, then make protection for your employees essential as well. Because they ARE essential. (5/5)
