What helped me understand Marxism? A thread:
-ANYTHING written by Che Guevara. Can’t get more real then by reading texts by a hero who actually dedicated his life to the cause. There’s a whole archive of his works here: https://www.marxists.org/archive/guevara/works.htm.
-The State and Revolution by Vladimir Lenin talks about the need for revolution, and the role of the working class in that revolution in order to overthrow capitalism: https://www.marxists.org/archive/lenin/works/1917/staterev/
-Jose Mariategui: His theories describe imperialism through a Latin American lens, something that often gets ignored a lot when talking about theory. You can check that out here: https://www.marxists.org/archive/mariateg/works/7-interpretive-essays/index.htm
-To Die for the People by Huey P Newton is easily one of my favorite books. It’s palpable, unlike a lot of other hard to digest theoretical books because it talks about the real life experiences of the Black Panther Party. You can get a free PDF here: http://libtips.org/main/4F5EDF7985899B624CCA26C7FF1E07A0
-Assata Shakurs biography is not theory heavy, but it should required reading for communists everywhere. Actual working class oppression experiences > constantly running to dry theory for answers.

-There are also other mediums that are good for learning theory, like podcasts. This one is really good, I recommend the older episodes. Revolutionary Left Radio. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/revolutionary-left-radio/id1218054701
OMG I AM A FOOL: please also read Open Viens of Latin America by Eduardo Galeano thank u uwu
