the story of Busters and how they have been mistreated by the kpop industry: a thread to spread awareness
busters debuted as a 5 member group in 2017 with their song dream on. barely days after debut, however, their debut stage was deleted from youtube and had to be reuploaded by fans
a few months later busters were invited to their first ever isac as rookies and even prepared personalized lunch boxes for the fans, but only 11 fans showed up as 4 pretended to be fans to skip the line for a more popular group
around that time, jisoo (a middle schooler) was modeling for a plastic surgery company which was found recently
busters had a brief break and prepared for their comeback, but the company had already begun losing hope (thankfully kpop fans came together and gave them unprecedented success)
however, the success of the post provoked a lot of fans to copy it and post their successful idols a joke. busters have went through a lot and it’s not a matter to joke about. (1)
the first one shown here went viral and the fan (not fans!!) replied rudely to all comments who complained about them copying busters’ actual struggle (2)
after grapes, busters rested and held monthly fansigns until their tour in brazil and then prepared for their comeback with ‘pinky promise’
the songs were fine, but fans began to notice the short outfits that the girls wore. they were all minors during the promotions and the girls looked very uncomfortable
this led to hundreds of disgusting videos and gifs sexualizing the members’ every move and it’s one of the top searches on youtube which is really upsetting
pinky promise promos finished and there a couple months of quiet as busters went on a small japan tour until suddenly member minji seemed to have been kicked out of the group. her mom even took to twitter asking the ceo to reconsider and fans angrily attempted to contact staff
after outrage from fans, the company issued an updated statement regarding her departure and minji opened her instagram account
busters added a fifth member and were relatively quiet after that with minimal promotions. everything was fine until chaeyeon was featured in an ad for a diet supplement company which sent kpop fans of all groups into a rage considering chaeyeon is 15/16
the management said nothing and later busters held a vlive to promote the chain “dessert39”. the members were dressed in small outfits and seated closely to the males, which grossed out fans as the youngest member is barely 14. the live was later deleted without explanation
fans were happy that they were going to release a makestar after the long break between pinky promise and the next comeback, but it ended up being a repackage of all their titles tracks and an already released christmas song
while working on her tv show, chaeyeon was hit aggressively by one of her co workers and footage of chaeyeon being mistreated came to light. chaeyeon had been balancing the program, busters schedules, and school FIVE out of SEVEN days a week
news dropped that busters had added two members ahead of their comeback, but then one day two members went missing without any explanation until days later after begging from the fans we discovered that hyungseo had left and chaeyeon wasn’t participating in the comeback
the girls have given up their childhood for busters and have received nothing in return. please support their comeback with their new album in april / may and send them nice comments
