The Los Angeles Teachers Union just struck a deal with their district.
The teachers will get to create their own work schedules
The teachers will only have to work 4 hours each day
The teachers won't be required to do any video lectures
The teachers won't lose any pay.

The teachers are required to "work" for 4 hours each day
But it's up to the teacher to determine what that "work" will include.
They COULD teach.
Or they could do things like grade papers, hold office hours, and attend faculty meetings.
