I already know I& #39;m gonna find some amazing stuff in here
Repenting over and over will lead to a strengthening and freshness in Eman in accordance with the repetition of repentance, such that the strength of your Eman will reach a point where a warding off/repelling of sins will be established within you
Imagine that you& #39;re in a boat in the midst of a terrible storm. You go to the where the captain is and you see him laying down on his bed as if nothing& #39;s happening. You tell him "what& #39;s wrong with you? There& #39;s this storm outside and you& #39;re just chilling here on your bed?"
The captain responds by saying that this is normal weather for somebody used to travelling at sea. He tells you to go relax on your bed and that you& #39;ll get to your destination safely and on time. In the same way that this boat gets to its destination safely due to the experience-
- of the captain and his expertise, a boat captained by Rasulullah ﷺ will also never sink in the face of calamities and tribulations. Meaning, that following the way of Rasulullah ﷺ will protect and save you from calamities and tribulations.
Take the example of a string being pulled from both sides by two people. If the two people pulling the string are intelligent, every time one of them pulls hard the other one will be a bit more lax in pulling from his side as to keep the string from breaking.
However, if the two pulling the string are ignorant, then they both will pull hard on the string and cause it to break. Life is like this. Different situations fall upon us, don& #39;t always be obsessed with getting what you want, listen to what others want as well sometimes.
Sajdah is the Mi& #39;raaj of the Mu& #39;min.
On Ramadan:
میان عاشق و معشوق رمز یست
کراما کاتبین راہم خبر نیست
[It is] between the lover and the Beloved a secret
The Noble Scribes (i.e., the angels recording our deeds) do not know of it
Also on Ramadan: Allah has made you, without any claim/right of your own, the object of his mercy only due to the fact that you are from the Ummah of the Prophet of mercy ﷺ
Fasting in Ramadan is a gift from Allah to His Prophet ﷺ and the Ummah, and the Prophet& #39;s ﷺ gift to his Ummah in Ramadan is his Sunnah of taraaweeh
Keep doing acts of worship even if in your whole life you don& #39;t see the fruits of them, because these acts are accepted by Allah and they bring you to the station of closeness to Allah

Interesting way that Doctor sahab differentiates between ikhlaas and sidq. He says ikhlaas is a condition for acts of worship, whereas sidq is the idea of one& #39;s acts being within the boundaries of the shariah.
He says that otherwise a person of bidah could say that they have ikhlaas, however if their ikhlaas doesn& #39;t have sidq, i.e., if it& #39;s not within the bounds of the shariah, then their ikhlaas is pointless because anything done outside of the bounds of the shariah is not accepted.
So he comments on the Ayah: "O you who have believed, fear Allah and be with the Saadiqeen" by saying that the Saadiqeen are those who have ikhlaas and sidq, meaning that they are sincere and their acts are within the boundaries of the Shariah.
Even when you love your family and show affection to them, do so because of the fact that Rasulullah ﷺ showed affection to his family, meaning make it your intention that you& #39;re imitating Rasulullah ﷺ. This will increase your love for Allah ﷻ and Rasulullah ﷺ InshaAllah.
And this is extended to other things as well, such as eating what He ﷺ like to eat and wearing what He ﷺ liked to wear, etc.
Maulana Thanwi said that if you do an act that is in accordance with the Sunnah, such as visiting a sick person, then you get rewarded even if you never had the intention of following the Sunnah because the act is still an act that follows the way of Rasulullah ﷺ.
