Meck County: NCDHHS currently does not accept positive results from non-FDA approved tests. Positive results could be due to current or past infections from viruses other than COVID-19.

The Chief Medical Officer of StarMed tells me he was “taken aback” by Meck County’s statement. He says StarMed will be transitioning to FDA approved tests next week @wsoctv
Adding to this thread- Multiple sources confirm to me the unnamed clinic in Meck County’s press release is StarMed. The WCLT clinic is charging patients $50 for a non-FDA approved fingerprick COVID-19 test. The NCDHHS won’t accept the results @wsoctv
