Treating patients in tents in Italy. People on the floor dying in Spanish hospitals. Mass graves being dug in NY.

42 days into this in Ireland, we& #39;ve averaged 7 dead a day while maintaining ICU capacity & national spirit and people are making out it& #39;s a disaster.

Grow up.
What annoys me is people think they& #39;re attacking Leo by making out it& #39;s a disaster but in reality they& #39;re attacking our medical scientists, doctors, nurses, carers, porters, receptionists, gardai, contact tracing volunteers, universities all rallying together to fight a battle.
If you& #39;re making out 287 dead in 42 days is a disaster, you& #39;re implicit in your belief our frontline have performed disastrously. You can& #39;t extricate yourself from paradoxical statements by trying to zone in on politicians.

You& #39;re insulting incredible courage and resilience.
And then I& #39;ve people quoting me Pearse?? To persuade me he would approve of tearing down other Irish people during a crisis?

Imagine telling him in 100 years from now, some Irish people would use a crisis to allege the British government is more honest than an Irish one?
I do like quotes from inspirational Irish people, so here& #39;s a couple for ya.

"Fight the real enemy" - Sinead O& #39; Connor
"Pull like a dog" - Paul O& #39; Donovan

No government is immune from legitimate criticism but some of you are fighting a different fight. Ours is with coronavirus.
