Good Friday night 2010 I brought home from hospital a weak-as-a-kitten lady after some NHS magic. Emotions abounded, family & friends were amazing & then chemo & radio did their bit too. Easter 2011-back to work. Now as Chair of Labs @BelfastTrust she leads & treats many..1/3

(continued) She even manages the dodgy lads in this house; the odd ethics committee post Masters & tonight is on her 3rd shift in the expanded Intensive Care Unit at the BCH. With a wide team, too numerous to mention, she will help look after two patients close to my area. 2/3

3/3: She has rarely looked back & by example has taught her sons & husband a lot about life & appreciating it. Every Friday is a good Friday-remember that & be thankful. Tonight, we look with pride & thanksgiving to the BCH tower & staff for then & now. Happy Easter all.
