Most of the time, the GOP is out there claiming that people of color aren't working. Now that we're in the middle of a pandemic and people of color are mostly the people doing jobs because, as it turns out, they do 'essential jobs', Uncle Adams is out here bitching about it.

It's almost like they're worried now. It suddenly dawned on them that after this pandemic is over, the only people who will have money are people who hold jobs essential to the economy, and it turns out that a very small fraction of that is white people.

(And don't pretend you, as white folks, haven't had that same thought. You know damn well you've looked around and thought, "Oh, fuck, I am non-essential. Why the fuck didn't I apprentice as an electrician? I hate my life. I wish I'd learned how to hang drywall.")

(But you didn't. You opted to become a programmer. And now you know that you're expendable and that nothing you've ever made will yield a tangible result. That's sad.

But, hey, at least no one's trying to pin a pandemic on you!)
