Today's episode of #TheCloneWars
was a serviceable but ultimately underwhelming conclusion to an arc that was in itself serviceable and underwelming.

The Martez sisters, while decently sketched as characters, didn't receive much development and their complicated dynamic didn't to move forward in any meaningful way. I guess we should just take Rafa at her word when she says she will be more mindful of Trace's wellbeing?
Their reaction to learning about Ahsoka's Jedi past also felt rushed and the potentially juicy conflict that could arise from it was ignored for the most part.
As for Ahsoka herself, the latest plot developments don't leave room for much soul-searching beyond saying she's afraid of being immersed in the world of the Jedi again. Her journey here feels undercooked.
That said, the episode was still entertaining and the confrontation between the sisters, the Toong workers and the Trandoshan overseer was pretty fun, with a good combination of action and comedy.
But now Bo-Katan's involved, and that means it's time for the big one, the story that Filoni has truly been itching to tell from the beginning. I just hope that in retrospective these past episodes don't feel like meaningless fluff.
Will Ahsoka's experiences with the sisters have any bearing on her way of conducting herself moving forward? We'll find out soon, I guess. Mandalore awaits.
