disclaimer: this is only MY opinion and iโm doing this thread for fun. feel free to get offended and start an argument tho idc. also this does not go over every detail i wouldโve liked to mention cz i donโt have the time n it wouldโve become 389393 tweets.

a lot of people say sakura is weak and useless (physically) yet i donโt agree. sakura is stronger than a lot of the supporting characters for example ino, kiba, arguably kankuro.

her chakra control has been hyped up a lot during the show and also her medical ninjutsu is probably only second to tsunade in the hidden leaf n she can punch. and these are good strengths... except that she barely puts any of them into good use maybe except healing.
even if we donโt compare her to the main characters aka sasuke n naruto even tho sheโs also an mc the amount of things that sakura has accomplished in her vast screen time is pretty embarrassing compared to what the supporting characters have in their limited screen time.
a perfect example being the chunin exam arc where we get to see a lot of characters shine meanwhile sakura couldnโt even beat ino, the weakest character, and all she accomplishes in this arc is cutting her hair.
then we get to the sasuke retrieval arc when she does NOTHING n has the nerve to beg naruto to bring her sasuke kun back completely ignoring how naruto must be feeling about the whole thing. the way naruto literally looks sad then smiles for her sake :(
and we get to see supporting characters like temari, gaara, kankuro, lee, choji, neji, kiba, shikamaru shine in this arc meanwhile sakura prolly sitting in her room just crying bout sasuke and doing NOTHING.
now going into shippuden she starts showing hella potential. she was training under tsunade for three years and she masters her chakra control. not to mention her fight against sasori which was impressive considering the way sasori crushed kankuro w ease like two eps before
but even tho she was showing potential at the start of shippuden she accomplishes nothing for the rest of the series. the moment she meets sasuke again she reverts back to her part one self whose only personality trait was her obsession w sasuke.
when we get to the pain arc and his attack to the village even konohamaru did sumn when he used rasengan to defeat one of the pains. meanwhile sakura is left crying and screaming for naruto to come back and save the day. now it gets even worse when-
hinata steps into the battle between naruto and pain just to try and save naruto and almost gets killed. meanwhile sakura continues to do nothing to contribute to the battle against pain except heal a bunch of people which she stops doing when pain destroys the village.
she continues to do nothing until and during the war arc. all sakuraโs done in shippuden up to this point which is the end of the anime is, help defeat sasori, heal people, help keep naruto alive when the nine tail was extracted from him and punch kaguya in the back of the head..
comparing to what the supporting characters accomplished in shippuden that really isnโt impressive. we ainโt even comparing this to all the things the two other main characters accomplished in the war arc cz naruto and sasukeโs accomplishments speak for themselves .
she had ONE job which was to destroy obitoโs rinnegan and that couldโve changed the outcome of the war by a lot and she failed to do that too. itโs also pretty bad when u think bout the fact that she has medical ninjutsu and probably has had to do more gruesome shit than that.
an example being how she literally cut open the side of narutoโs body, sticked her hand in and grabbed his heart and pumped it to save his life. anyways moving on from how worthless she was..
thing is sakuraโs not even the most worthless shinobi there is but she gets put in so many important situations where everybody be snapping and sheโs just... there. crying.

whenever sakura tried to prove herself the things she did were far beyond her capabilities and her doing it served no purpose but to satisfy her own selfish ego and always someone had to swoop in and save her before she got herself killed doing stupid shit.
perfect example being when she was trying to kill sasuke and she knocks out all her teammates so they couldnโt help her because itโs supposed to be her โburdenโ. and how she lied bout her feelings for naruto risking breaking his heart just so he wouldnโt be mad bout it
of course she fails cz she obviously couldnโt kill her sasuke kun and she almost dies at the hand of sasuke if naruto hadnt swooped in as always to save her...
