I made some extra effort today to get actual bread and grape juice for my parents so they could participate in their church’s Good Friday communion service tonight. My church however is holding off til the quarantine ends... so i am too.

It seems to me that if the forms of presence can be stretched, then the forms of the elements could as well. As one goes, so goes the other.

But how far can either form be stretched? Waffles and OJ? Crackers and applesauce? Mediated blessing? The Body dispersed? I wonder...
