Hey comics fam, if you read that NYT article that came out today about our industry ~dying~ across the board rn, please don't let it make you feel despair. It's just a short piece on how the pandemic has uniquely affected us; so it leaves out all the positive actions being taken.

It's like "niche markets for dummies" and explains the hit to our industry in fisher price terms so normies can understand what's happening to us. So keep ur heads up, nerds

You guys already know what I've been up to throughout all this, and there are even more folks like @Doncates, @AshcanPress, and @GailSimone putting in the damn work every single day too.

There's so, so many more people I could tag who are just givin 'er all they've got right now. I've been seeing @Newsarama and @bleedingcool exhaustively reporting on this stuff for weeks -- every single action being taken to help lcs and the comics industry.

We'll get through this. We won't be the same on the other side of it, (nor SHOULD we be imo bc it wasn't working, clearly...) but comics will definitely get through this. You can't kill an artistic medium. You can, however, evolve its techniques and method of dissemination.
