A proposal is only that — a proposal.

We’re exploring all our options to advocate for our members. We’re asking TribPub for complete financial information. It's time for them to open the books.

They are asking us to diminish our pay, without promise of job security or recouped salary on the other side of this crisis. These are not furloughs they propose: They’re seeking the same (or more) work from us, but for less money, in perpetuity.

They should prove its necessity.
