#Jinnah: The Hindus thought he was a Muslim communalist, the Muslims took him to be a pro-Hindu, the Prince deemed him to be too DEMOCRATIC. The British considered him a rabid extremist with the result that he was everywhere but nowhere. None wanted him https://dailytimes.com.pk/593149/jinnah/
Jinnah Sahab’s principled stand: I displeased the Muslims.I displeased my Hindu friends because of the famous 14 points.I displeased the Prince, and I displeased the British Parliament because I felt RIGHT from the beginning and I rebelled against it, and said it was all a fraud.
Hector Bolitho in Quest of Jinnah writes; Jinnah was a source of power, a cold rationalist in politics, he had one track mind, with great force behind it; Jinnah was potentially kind, but in behaviour extremely cold and distant.
Always been a fan of his dress sense, bought a same pair of shoes like him about a decade ago, kept them for special occasions.
My advocacy of an ISLAMIC state brought me into conflict with #Jinnah. As I was convinced that I was right and didn’t want to compromise Jinnah’s position. I decided to cut myself away for nearly 2 years.
~ Raja Saheb Meahmudabad
Because Jinnah Saheb was quite concerned about the spellings of his name, that’s why I always remember Mohammed in @mohammedhanif ‘s name, which always reminds me the correct spelling of “Mohammed,” in Jinnah.

I am a nationalist first,
a nationalist second,
and a nationalist last.

~ Mohammed Ali Jinnah Speakingat the Central Legislative Assembly in 1925

Not his 14 points only, there are so many events recorded in history, where he was not given any option, but Pakistan.
Sir Victor Alfred Charles Turner, CSI, CIE, MBE, SI was an English-Pakistani civil service officer, statistician and economist, and one of the founding fathers of the Civil Service of Pakistan, serving as the first Finance Secretary of Pakistan
Sir Chaudhry Muhammad Zafarullah Khan participated in 3 Round Table Conferences held. He was appointed the judge of the Federal Court of India in September 1941 and was the first ever appointed foreign minister of Pakistan by Mr #Jinnah himself.
I can assure you that Jinnah was sincere about Hindu-Muslim unity, it was no political trick. Whatever faults he had, political trickery was not one of them.
~ Sir Cowasjee Jehangir
“ It is my ambition to become the Muslim Gokhale.”
~Mohammed Ali Jinnah

He has true stuff in him, and that freedom from all sectarian prejudice which will make him the best ambassador of the #Hindu-Muslim Unity.
