the amount of love you have for yourself is going to inevitably be your standard for others. if you love yourself 30%, and someone loves you 40%, you're going to think they're great and not notice the pain they've inflicted until it's too late. because 40% is still too little.

so, if you could just love yourself entirely, with all your imperfections and flaws, you'd be able to filter and separate those that treat you like you deserve to be treated and those that don't.

so, please, love yourself before you let anyone else love you. love yourself completely and entirely. because just because someone treats you better than you treat yourself doesn't mean they treat you right. :(
