Excuse me if my questions seem sporadic, let's begin the thread nonetheless. https://twitter.com/jolconnoisseur/status/1248689314751483910
1. Do you take a gig, as a gig or are you particular about the type of events/venues you play at and how that aligns with your brand?
2. How much thought/effort do you put into your branding or do you prefer for your talent to speak for itself? In the case of those that say talent, why.
3. Is there more value in picking a specific genre and sticking by that or being a versatile DJ?
4. What is your experience with promoters? From the process of being booked, negotiating (if you do your own negotiations), having the terms met and the general reception you received on the day of your gig?
5. How do you get most of your gigs?
6. When considering the monetary (💸💸💸) value of your time, what do you take into consideration?
7. Do you feel as if the industry is interested in creating a symbiotic community or its back stabbing vibes?
8. Do you see any worth in having a manager or do you prefer to do shit yourself (a manager doesn't just do bookings remember)?
9. In your experience, which scene pays better?
10. Do you believe in playing for exposure or are you uncompromising?
