"I'm not leaving the Labour Party. I've been in the Labour Party all my life and that is where I am politically active. But it doesn't stop me being active in lots of other causes and in the community and on different issues as well."

Jeremy Corbyn, in his interview tonight.
"The Labour Party was created to give a voice to radical opinion all over the country. And there are times one would agree, and times one would disagree. But don't destroy the vehicle that is there. It's a very important thing to have."
"So I say to people - stay in the party. I, as everyone knows, profoundly and totally disagreed with the decisions taken by Tony Blair and others over the war in Iraq. And I indeed spoke at over 200 public meetings against the Iraq War before the invasion took place."
"And many people said "Well, it's the Labour Party doing this.". I said, "No no, it's not the Labour Party doing this. It is a Labour Government that are doing this, they're completely wrong and I will vote against it in Parliament." which of course I did as did many others."
"But we have to make sure that our party, is our party for the future."

Jeremy Corbyn on his future in the Labour Party.

He's staying folks. And so am I.
