Tips if you are still unsure of what your options are regarding a cancelled flight due to Covid-19....

(1/6)
If an airline cancels your flight that involves flying to/from/through the US or EU, you’re owed a refund.
It& #39;s as simple as that.

The US DOT and European Commission made this very clear last week e.g. https://tinyurl.com/sx99ppu

Unfortunately, some airlines have been dragging their feet on giving these refunds.

Many customers have complained that flight vouchers are the ONLY option available.

Here& #39;s what you can do if you find yourself in this situation...

First, hang up and call again (if you can stand the waiting times).

Not all customer service agents are the same.
If one agent says no to a refund, another may say yes.

Be polite and remind them it is the law that you receive a refund.

Second, you can file a complaint.

US DOT: https://tinyurl.com/y3qvbm4x
EC:">https://tinyurl.com/y3qvbm4x&... https://tinyurl.com/rp3ugeb

This">https://tinyurl.com/rp3ugeb&q... actually works!!

After the DOT received thousands of complaints, it was then forced to remind airlines of their responsibilities, resulting in an increase in refunds.

Lastly, you can dispute the charge with your credit card.

Although banks prefer customers use this as a last resort when not receiving paid goods/services, if options 1 and 2 fail, this may be your last hope.

Good luck.
