My favorite pastime with the Beatles is listening to Paul's insane riffs. First time I noticed that Paul was a killer bassist was on I Want You, but as soon as you pick up on it it's hard to hear much else. Of course I grew up playing bass so I'm perhaps predisposed.
Taxman is a freaking awesome bass riff.
Once you get to the second verse on Taxman you're like "What is he even doing?"
