A lot of folks act as if the United States is a pure free market system instead of the hybrid capitalism/socialism thing it has in reality. Also, without government (which provides courts, infrastructure, and incorporation laws), capitalism wouldn't exist. @Noahpinion

The tweet quoted in the first part of this thread is another reminder that you shouldn't assume highly-developed intellect in a businessman just because he's successful in running a business. Successful executives are such because they only know how to run businesses.
