stumbled upon the vast, vast collection of CDs I burned in the early-mid 2000s (3 of 6 books pictured here.) At first, it was from the internet/library. Then, when I got a job that paid ok $, I purchased CDs, burned them & then gave the original copies away -- to keep consistency
I've kept these for years but have no real use for them beyond archival/nostalgia, so I haven't opened the books in a very long time and wow I would give a lot to be as organized as I was when I put these together. These things are by genre, by chronology, sometimes by FAMILY
unfortunately I was definitely the person trying to impress people with my cd/record collection -- like in the college years if I invited you over to check out my CDs that was not a code for anything, we would actually be checking out these CDs folks
at the time I undertook all of this, I was 100% sure that CDs would be the wave forever and ever, so a part of it was just converting cassettes and records I knew I loved to a format I thought would always have a place in my music-listening world

but, well
