Politicking and grandstanding are alive and well in the midst of a health crisis.

To those capitalizing on fear rather than encouraging us to come together at this time, just stop.

A City Councillor shouldn’t have to be the one to make this case.

For the rest of us, we have a choice:

Scramble & fight when this is all over just to return to the failed status quo.

Or...take this opportunity to build something better, to demand better, and to work for official policies to match our own priorities of community well being.
A lesson we’ve all learned:

Independence is important.

But interdependence - community - is how we thrive.

Encouraging community, building community - that’s where we will find the path to something better together.

We can do this if WE do this.
This time of year represents renewal and rebirth. For many it is a sacred time.

We see the world waking up to new life and new possibilities.

Let’s contemplate that.

Strong, resilient ecosystems by any metric are diverse, supportive and challenging.

Strong societies are, too.
Watch for those who would separate us.

Support those who build us up, more & more united.

And please, use your voice. It will always make a difference.

Take care of yourself & others.

Thanks.
