So in California right now you can’t send your kid to any school, public or private, without them being 💯vaccinated... https://twitter.com/bigleaguemerica/status/1248645893961768961
The only option to opt out of that is to homeschool.

So what happens if parents lose their right to homeschool?
If they were to take away homeschooling rights, but not lift any laws on vaccines, this means forced vaccinations and public or private schools for all children.
They want parents to outsource the raising of their children and parents are led to believe they are not capable of teaching their children well.

And now, possibly make it against the law not to outsource the raising of our children.
I was diving into homeschooling research right before this crisis and to my surprise I did learn that a lot of homeschooled children are incredibly well adjusted to the world and very successful.
One thing I learned specifically was that in young children “you can’t stop the learning”. Meaning, in every day life they are learning everything they need to know and as a parent you can look for ways to educate your child in every moment.
This way of teaching fosters a love for learning in a child, whereas many school children are forced at a young age to learn too much too soon, causing them to have anxiety around learning and sometimes a total distaste for it, for life.
Homeschooled children or more easily able to focus on their specific interests and tend to discover their unique skills and abilities at a younger age.
As the home schooled child gets older and needs more advanced education parents have many options, one obvious option is tutors.
With common core curriculum in public school and the extreme testing measures it introduced, many children are struggling in public school and are being downright traumatized by the intensity of the testing.
I didn’t know this until I made this thread, guess who’s got his dirty mittens all over common core and standardized testing?

Bill friggin’ Gates

Seriously, this dude is everywhere

🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️
Bill Gates, and his co Microsoft are heavily involved as members of ALEC. The Gates Foundation granted nearly $350,000 to ALEC to push their education reform agenda through ALEC lobbies as well
“Last year, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation gave ALEC (American Legislative Exchange Council) nearly $377,000, for education efforts–in particular, according to the foundation’s website, measures dealing with evaluating teachers”
Gates advised governors that the critical cuts to public schools could actually improve education if class sizes were increased so that we can “get more students in front of the very best teachers.”

You know, the teachers they have “evaluated”.
Consider this: many homeschooled children go to college very early and are extremely eager to learn because it’s coming from a place of true desire to learn.
I’ve heard endless stories of homeschooled children achieving incredible things at young ages. As they get older they are often more educated than others their age due to earlier start in college. They are also more likely to continue learning throughout their lifetime.
(By the way, Gates is also heavily involved in the vaccine world 🙄)

So, we’re looking at forced schooling taught by teachers who are essentially cherry picked, taught curriculum which sets kids up for failure, while being forced to inject whatever they command into their bodies
I realize homeschooling isn’t for everyone, and isn’t possible for everyone, but the real point I’m making is that where there’s risk we must retain the right to options to chose what’s best for our child
Homeschooling is one of the biggest rebellions against (them)

They want to gain rights to our children’s little minds and little bodies and erase the rights of the parents

What could go wrong?!
