I don’t usually do follow Friday, but here it goes. I’ve been on Twitter for a little over a year, and it has been a strange ride. I’ve made mistakes along the way, but have also met some interesting ppl. So...here are 6 accounts to folllow - 3 are Christians, and 3 are atheists
. @amateurexegete - The og. I wouldn’t even be on Twitter if he didn’t find me screaming into the void on my Wordpress. If you want to see what it looks like when an atheist has an appreciation/deep understanding of the biblical texts, look no further.
. @CanadianOrth - Is still a Christian (for now...) but he represents the kind of person I would want to be if I ever came back to faith.
. @A_Pasta_Sea - Has a blog, and it’s good. Make sure to read it and to tell him how good it is. Maybe if enough people continually annoy him about it, he might consider writing again. Until then, I’ll just resort to my normal coping mechanism of crying in the shower
. @SecularOutpost - Is one of the first people that comes to mind when I think of atheists who have a rigorous understanding of their position, as well as a charitable attitude towards those they disagree with. If you appreciate that approach, you’ll really like his content.
. @RandalRauser - Even though we don’t see eye to eye on everything, I can appreciate one of the common goals we seem to share: opposing fundamentalism. He puts out a lot of helpful stuff, so check it out.
. @DryApologist - A newer apologist that I like a lot. Seems like a genuinely good person who is interested in participating in/hosting discussions. We’ve had several exchanges, and all of them have been cordial.
Anyway, this is the end of my rant. There are many others I could list, but I didn’t want to make this longer than it already is. Follow these people. DO IT.
