I’ve been a Star Wars fan 2 almost 3 decades. The first time I felt myself in a Star Wars Story was TLJ. Seeing Rey searching for hope in people who let her down over and over again. And finding the strength to believe in them still. And to believe in herself #ThankYouDaisyRidley

TLJ found me at a time I needed that message. To stop waiting for other people to be the hero & to just step up myself. That sometimes your heroes fail & sometimes your hopes turn on you. But that you can be the one that inspires them not the other way around #ThankYouDaisyRidley

Then in TRoS Rey was everything I wanted to be. “All you want is for me to hate but I won’t.” Is my mantra now. In a world that’s all about what we’re mad about and not what we’re passionate about I will choose to not hate. #ThankYouDaisyRidley

“Never be afraid of who you are.” Hit me hard. I am afraid of myself. I’ve never known how to explain it. But seeing it play out on screen... means everything to me. #ThankYouDaisyRidley

And so much of that is Daisy. She is so charming, disarming, genuine, and joyful. She can just leap off of the screen and into your soul. I’m so glad we have her in our Star Wars family. I hope she knows she’s loved. #ThankYouDaisyRidley
