I was stopped at 2 police check points today

2nd: Doctor how na?Make we drink malt na
So instead of getting angry,my thoughts were: Compared to health workers like me,police officers in lower cadres must feel like the inhabitants of hell themselves.

The police should get better pay, working or living conditions and be celebrated for keeping us at home but corruption won’t allow it.

Meanwhile we watch health workers around the world being celebrated everyday.

People abroad can clap for NHS doctors and celebrate health workers everyday because they are safe and comfortable in their homes.
Nigerians are struggling and suffering. I believe they appreciate us ,but are too busy trying to survive to show appreciation.

Those who are comfortable keep playing dumb and do not demand more for the public,more for themselves to meet global operation standards during a pandemic such as this.
